NY Century
The Folding Bike Club participated in this year's NY Century ride organized by Transportation Alternatives. We saw plenty of folders out on the ride which was great. Our executive committee members, Tom DelMundo, Giselle DelMundo and Donna Chang led the 15-mile cyclists as ride marshals. Thankfully they did not have any major accidents to report though they did assist a road bike cyclist with a flat tire on the Brooklyn Bridge and aided a young rider on his BMX bike who took a nose dive over his handlebars near the finish. All in all, a good day and a great way to remember September 11th.
